How We Define Physical Fitness

The physical training or PT part of NJROTC is to physically set students above the average by activities chosen by the cadets on every Friday. For those cadets interested, If you join NJROTC and stay with us for all 4 years you will earn a gym class credit. This means that if you stay in a Naval Science class you will never worry about your Gym class.
Also, every quarter we will run what is called a Physical Fitness Test (PFT). This is a voluntary test that you may take after school in order to earn you Physical Fitness ribbon. The requirements for this test are shown below.

This test is not required and does not effect your academic grade.
